For the first time in Switzerland’s 113-year chess history, a woman has been able to win both the women’s and men’s national chess titles. See how I did that in my post (lots of photos!). The first 2 weeks of July I played in the super prestigious Geneva Chess Masters, a closed tournament finally won by GMs Mamedyarov in front of Kramnik and Nakamura. I created a mini-sensation by beating French champion Romain Edouard 2-0 in our match. See my post with 4-minute YouTube video of the game. In 2 weeks I will play in the MemorialRazuvaev, which will take place on August 6-12, in Washington, DC.
